SIGOURNEY
2000-2008
In Celebration of Her Life

Sigourney came into my life in February 2002. She was an impish little girl, my first Italian Greyhound, with a twinkle in her eye and a swift wag of her little tail. She was 18 months old and had been found at a local shelter. Within moments, she had stolen my heart. Unlike my large greyhounds, I could hold her close and she filled something in me the others could not touch.
She was an independent girl, often spending hours on the back of a chair looking out the window on watchdog duty. She was snuggly and loving when she chose, but slept with me every night, always happy to see the dawn.
Sigourney crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 21st after a four-month struggle with acute kidney failure. She was only 8 years old. But I am so very grateful for the time she spent on this earth sharing her life with me.
Sigourney had many friends who will never forget her. She is very missed, but holds a very special place in our hearts and memories.
You are with the angels now, Sigourney. Watch over us ’til we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
